Couple of questions:

1) Does any WORM drive work with the Series III or will I need something specific? I want one for my Fairlight. Anyone got one for sale?

2) Can anyone send me OS 6.03 on floppies? I have 'new' spare discs to replace any that are sent to me. I need this for a friend who is going to build a 6.03 machine from spares they have collected over the years. If there's anything else, software wise, they're going to need to get this going, please let me know.

I have found some information regarding WORM drives and compatibility, so thought I'd share it with everyone. The following drives were recommended and properly coded for the Series III:

Maxtor RXT-800-S(Full Height)
Maxtor RXT-800-HS(Half Height)

I do believe others 'may' work, but as I said above, these ones are 100% guarenteed to work.

I also found a few companies that re-furbish and sell these. One company quoted me $1695 + $150 for shipping to the UK. I find this extremely expensive, but I have no idea how much these devices are worth. I can't remember off hand which companies I checked, but a search for these devices in Google brings up plenty of options.
