Hi Guys,

Just wondering who still visits this place. There seems to be very little activity here compared to two years ago. I presume you are all still using your CMI's ? Lets try and use the message board more if we can. Thanks.

Regards,

James Thomson

I am using all my CMIs whenever I have time (contradicting statement). And I watch this board as an alternative to the group.

This board got me started in the first place.

Regards,
Harald Feldmann.

I'm still here, checking in occasionally but haven't booted my Fairlight in a while. Have been busy with other things that need attention. Also a bit disillusinoed with digital equipment I have which kills the spark for me somewhat. I need to get hold of some analogue multitrack at some point. That'll probalby get me going again.

HI HAROLD!

Jerry

Hi James,

I still visit this site, but not as often as I used to. I don't use my Series III that often either, but will do once the few niggly problems are sorted.

Cheers,
Peter

Hi,

Currently I'm busy building a new studio, since I ran out of space due to my collecting habit. One of my most favourite items of my collection is a Fairlight CMI IIx that belonged to J.J. Jeczalik (Art of Noise). When I have more time I hope to be more active with making music and exploring sounds again.

Cheers,

Peter Kersten.
