A producer friend of mine form Detroit, Michigan, Amen Ra told me of a Tana Maria session recorded in the Detroit area where they had to fly in a Series III from L.A. I thought he was lying. This message confirms that he was more than likely telling the truth.:
A buddy just played me an album called Naked To The World by Teena Marie. Researched this on line and it came out in 1988...sounded like a lot of Fairlight in this. : Anybody know if she used a CMI on this album. Was kinda nice tho not really my cup of tea musically. : Jerry |
