I heard that keyboard magazine had a give-a-way in the 80's for the last IIx made. What issue and year and where did it end up?? How many I's and II's were made?? Thanks!!!!!!!!

86, It ended up with a girl who sold it to a fellow in the mid-west.

How many I's and II's were made?? Thanks!!!!!!!!
350/give or take a few.

It was Tim, and I'm embarrased that I did not remember that. He is probably lurking on this page or a few others and will pop up at some point. I sent him my slave keyboard many years ago for his IIX, but that database where his details are is long gone.

Sorry to resurrect this thread after all this time.

You're both right. Andrew, you'll be pleased to know that I got that slave keyboard all prettied up and have put it to good use!
